Title Presenter(s) Description
Beginning Self Hypnosis 1, Inductions: A heads-on approach to getting yourself under TernAbout The very first step of any self-hypnosis practice, be it improvement or pleasure, is getting yourself into trace. This is a heads-on class in which we will go through multiple self-inductions making use of multiple techniques and modalities. There's no one right way to do it, so I will give everyone lots of opportunities to find an induction or two that you love. I will talk very briefly about uses for self hypnosis, but the focus of this class is really on getting yourself down. I recommend bringing a pillow and/or blanket to class with you.
(For anyone, beginner; Hands-on workshop; 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: Everyone in class will be encouraged to self-induce several times. Due to January in Maryland and hard chairs I encourage attendees to bring a blanket and/or pillow. Given the highly beginner-orientation of this class, all suggestions used in the class will have to do with self-relaxation, stress reduction and self-hypnosis.
Beginning Self Hypnosis 2: Uses : Now that you've got yourself down, what do you get out of it? TernAbout The uses of self-hypnosis are only limited by your imagination and your information resources. I can't tell you everything but this class will discuss enough uses for self hypnosis (for our own health and well-being as well as for fun sexy play) to give you a good starting point. Class discussion is encouraged. Please note that I will not be teaching you how to hypnotize yourself in this class.
(For anyone, beginner; Lecture; 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: Class discussion will be encouraged on topics ranging from self-soothing in stress or trauma to self-pleasure and sexual fantasies. All participants are expected to apply the rule: Your kink is not my kink but your kink is OK.
Body Horror Moon-Gazer, Ariadne Do you like the idea of a human body slowly tearing itself apart as the person inside is forced to watch and experience everything as it happens? How about being painfully transformed by an alien virus? Or maybe growing an extra pair of eyes on the palms of the hands? This class is for those who want to experience or help their partner experience scary, gross, or disturbing things happening to their body. In this class, we cover what body horror is, how to do it, and how the experience might feel. We will discuss camp, classic. and modern horror tropes to spark your creativity so brilliantly, your whole brain might spontaneously combust. We will also discuss how to give suggestions and use other techniques to create an experience that feels real – so real, it will take on a life of its own and consume you. This class will involves lecture and graphic demonstrations.

Build-a-Bimbo Cleavagepool So, you are curious about or interested in bimbo play? Great! Bimbo play can be a lot of fun! However, how do you know what kind of bimbo someone means when they say bimbo play? In this class, we are going to break down the concept of a bimbo into the different archetypes and stereotypes associated with bimboism such as intelligence play, giggling, body modification, etc. Each attendee will get a character building sheet on which to design your bimbo, picking bimbo traits from what are discussed in the class or adding your own. Next time you want to do a bimbo scene, you will know EXACTLY what kind of bimbo you are aiming for! This class is aimed at subjects but all are welcome to join and participate.

Building Consent Together: Another Approach to Consent Discussions Jukebox The webcomic "Robot Hugs" described the process of consent not as a negotiation, which carries an inherent connotation of an adversary relationship, but as "building a consent castle". Over the course of this discussion, we're going to talk about what changes when you start seeing consent as something you build together and how to make this concept work for you and your partner.
(For anyone, beginner, intermediate, advanced; Roundtable discussion; 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: Although the class is not about consent violations, they may come up in the course of the discussion. Anyone dealing with the aftermath of a consent violation needs to be aware that the subject may come up and that they can ask to table any heavy discussion for another time.
Clearing the Spider Webs Lord Percival One of the delights, and possible drawbacks, of enjoying hypnosis as part of your kink, is sometimes there are things left behind. Some of them are gifts, left to be opened at a later time, occasionally they are just unintentional side effects, and sometimes they are things you no longer want to have around. This class looks at how to clear the spider webs that need to go, and still keep the ones you want. While this class does have exercises, that will help to achieve the goal of the class, participation is not required. Bring with: A totem or small object that has significance to you. Clothing: Comfortable clothing that embodies who you are
(For anyone, beginner, intermediate, advanced; Hands-on workshop; 75 min)
Consensual Non-Consent Ariadne A common fantasy among hypnokinksters is for a hypnotist to have such strong control over the hypnotee as to make them do anything, even things they don’t want to do. Common knowledge among this hypnosis community is “hypnosis can’t make you do things you don’t want.” These two ideas can and do coexist; welcome to the realm of consensual non-consent.
This class is foremost about CNC in a broader context. We’ll talk about how to negotiate a CNC dynamic that leaves both you and your partner(s) fulfilled and okay with what happened. We will cover some of varieties on the grand spectrum of consensual non consent dynamics as well as the risks and safety mechanisms inherent to each. We will talk about how to recover from mistakes. We will also discuss how to give and accept suggestions that the hypnotee doesn’t (strictly speaking) want.
(For anyone, advanced; Lecture; 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: We will be discussing non consent, play gone wrong, and other emotionally-intense topics.

Class size is limited and a sign-up sheet will be available at the registration desk.

Ensnaring minds AND bodies: Hypnosis and Rope AskJeeves Are you a skilled rigger?
Me neither.
Luckily, neither of us have to be for a class on the hypnotic sensation possibilities of rope. We will go through both pleasurable and mildly painful games to play with the feeling of rope on skin. Though I’m a domme, I tend to do much of my hypnosis play as a collaborative experience and this class will reflect that mindset rather than coming at things from a strict D/S perspective, though you can elaborate on my ideas in that direction all you like. I’ll do a demo, then give y’all time to try it, then I’ll demo something else and we will keep at it until we get bored or run out of time.
Being able to do simple ties is nice, but I’ll teach them. If you’ve got some rope, bring it, though I’ll have extra, and a bottom might like a towel or a yoga mat because a lot of rope work is easier to do on the floor. That said, if you’ve got movement difficulties that make being on the floor difficult, don’t worry about it, we will work it out.
(For anyone, intermediate; Hands-on workshop; 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: Hypnosis demos and some heavy sensation/light pain play

Fascinations Lord Percival In hypnosis, a fascination is an out-of-the-ordinary attraction, or attention to an object or action. One of the tools of hypnosis is known as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) which is described as the dynamics between the mind and our language, and how their interplay affects our behavior. One can use NLP to create and program fascinations into a willing mind. Another is post-hypnotic suggestions. Those can be used similarly to embed fascinations into one's play. Come and explore how to build and use some simple fascinations in this class. Partnered: Preferable, but not necessary. Bring with: A totem or small object that has significance. Hypnosis for Dominance & Submission: A Practical Guide To Power Dynamics in Hypnotic Play MrDream, GleefulAbandon While hypnosis is often viewed as having implicit power dynamics, this class will give practical demonstration and discussion of how to both enhance the experience of dominance and submission to fulfill the fantasies of scene participants, as well as balance the fantasy of power differential with the reality of fully empowered partnership. Attention will be made on the difference between pickup play and the development of long term D/s relationships as well as consensual nonconsent, training, conditioning, mind-control vs submission, ownership, and hypnosis as service from the submissive to the dominant. Focusing on the whole scene, we will demonstrate how inductions, deepeners and suggestions can be adjusted to create consistent quality of D/s from start to finish. Our goal is that all participants will have greater confidence in exploring D/s, with an awareness of the risks and good strategies for pursuing their fantasies while treating their partner with care and respect. This class is appropriate for all skill levels, and is particularly aimed at those who have some experience with hypnosis but are still new to the exploration of D/s with this tool.
(For anyone, beginner; Lecture w/demo(s); 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: This class will include demonstration and discussion of techniques including reinforcement of extreme power dynamic roles. May include partial nudity.
Hypnosis for Sadism & Masochism: A (Hyper) Focus on Pain, Humiliation and Fear MrDream, Pinky Despite some practitioner’s preference for relaxation as a factor of the hypnotic scene, for many subjects and hypnotists, excitement, thrill, anxiousness, fear, pain and humiliation all can be effective at creating powerful hypnotic experiences. Physical stimuli may be enhanced, changed or even hallucinated, to allow a wider flexibility in where and how BDSM may be practiced. We will demonstrate how scenes may be created that can explore a wide range of S&M, by exploring underlying ideas as a foundation for consensual, careful, compassionate play in the darker edge of our fantasies. This class will provide even beginners with ideas on how to build inductions that allow the excitement and anticipation of S&M to create both the scene and the hypnotic state. Appropriate for all skill levels, this class does involve challenging scenes that may be triggery, including physical and emotional pain. We will provide warnings of content so as to allow attendees to determine whether to remain.
(For anyone, beginner; Lecture w/demo(s); 75 min)

Hypnotic Headspaces: The Spectrum of Transformations GleefulAbandon We talk about hypnosis as a multi-tool that can do everything from create an intense connection between partners to create a fun and silly role play scene. And that's true, but in essence, these wildly different scenarios can be expressions of the same but powerful transformative effect. What do being deep and cataleptic and being a "Bimbo Dinosaur" have in common? What is it to change who you are, a little or a lot, for a period of time with (or for) another person?
This introspective class, taught through the filter of D/s from a submissive perspective, will include demos that highlight that at its core, a hypnotic relationship can be about the ever-changing expression of self of a person (or persons) and what it means to be transformed from the outside in.
While it's geared more intermediate to advanced, the larger ideas of what we're discussing are applicable to any kinkster.
(For anyone, intermediate, advanced; Lecture w/demo(s); 75 min)

Live in the Moment: Become Your Character: Hypnosis and Voice Acting Calico In voice acting, all context for a character's self is provided by your voice alone which sometimes leads to difficulty in conveyed a sense of realism. With method acting, this can be addressed, but what if we can go further than that?
By hypnotically projecting yourself into the character so that, for a time, you believe you are that character performing all the actions you are voicing over, the realism can be raised to the point of experiencing those sensations by the actor themselves.
Join Calico as she demonstrates a method to do just that in a safe, yet enjoyable manner as well as the potential effects of putting on the "mask." Afterward, some attendees will be able to join her to try it out for themselves under her guidance and directing to show just how much can change from before and after the character's mask comes on. Negotiating while Fractionated LeeAllure Negotiating while Fractionated: We've probably all heard someone say "Don't renegotiate when you're in the middle of trance!" but what happens when you're at a weekend long hypno con, and whether you're a hypnotist or a subject, you've been doing so much trance that you're already in an altered state by Friday night? Should you just stop interacting with people in any way because you might unduly influence someone/be influenced by someone? What if you've made plans to negotiate a scene or even a demo with someone and want to make sure you're going to do it well?
In this class/workshop, we'll explore:
how to recognize when a partner is impaired/fractionated, how much, and in what way, whether it's all right to negotiate with a fractionated partner and how this changes between familiar and new partners. We'll also explore how a subject can make themself a more resilient negotiator, recognize their own state and determine what acceptable risk and mitigation is for themselves, in addition to ways to set and enforce boundaries for your own mind and how to make sure you're clear on what those boundaries are for the minds of those you'll work with. We'll look at ways to ensure that what you do is as safe and appropriate for you and your partners throughout an event, as it would be when you're completely conscious and alertly awake.
(For anyone, advanced; Hands-on workshop; 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: Contains material and demonstrations that are likely to be extremely challenging and probably disturbing for many people, so please be cautious when deciding whether to attend this event. Possibly Intense Emotional Situations, hypnosis demos, adult content.

Relative Effectiveness of Hypnotic Animated Gifs: A Preliminary Report that will Definitely Not Brainwash You Divney Hynotic animated gifs have long been a staple of the hypnosis enthusiast community. But until now their use has not been studied systematically and rigorously. In this slideshow presentation, the results of a novel crowd-sourced hypnotic Gif rating methodology will be communicated. These findings consist of definitive, statistically sound answers to questions such as: Are spirals better when they go in or out? and: What is the world's most powerful hypnotic animated Gif? and: How fractionated can a class audience get? At no point will audience members be subjected to subliminal messages embedded in the large projected spiral animations, that will brainwash them into an army of sexy research assistants. None of that.

Rethinking Hypnotic Pleasure Kay Early in hypnokink, people will often start with erotic pleasure; enhancing erogenous zones, moving them to other parts of the body, orgasms on command… but sometimes exploring other types of pleasure can fall by the wayside. With hypnosis, the experience of eating grapes can become a scene all its own. Different senses and emotional states can be engaged. Even differences in the way trance is experienced (blank and mindless, dazed and loopy) can give a scene a unique feel. This class talks about how to engage different modalities to expand pleasure beyond just the erotic, though it can be combined with erotic pleasure to amplify it even further. It also seeks to include people who are asexual, touch-averse, or otherwise have complicated relationships with their orgasms.
(For anyone, beginner, intermediate; Lecture w/demo(s); 75 min)
CONTENT NOTE: Hypnosis demonstrations of various types of pleasure, emotional states, possibly including orgasm and drug play. Also contains discussion of various reasons people may have a lack of interest in, or aversion to, sexuality.

Schrödinger's Trance EnScenic/Noelle All hypnotees have had that moment where they're just not quite sure they are actually in trance. (Spoiler alert: they totally were.) Subject-Directed Trances: Being An Active Subject Chewtoy, Lady Irkalla One way to become a really great hypnotic subject with a partner... is to learn how to take yourself into trance alone, without anyone guiding you. You can learn to respond to lighter guidance from your partner; learn what sorts of words, images, ideas, and sense modalities work especially well for you; and also explore the sorts of self-help tricks that self-hypnosis has long been recommended for. In this class, we will talk about a variety of self-hypnosis exercises-- some for general trancing, some for practice at particular hypnotic skills, like visualization. We'll talk about ways you've used self-hypnosis, if you have your own stories, tricks, and techniques to share. And we'll practice a bit of self-hypnosis, all of us at the same time but each person directing their own internal experience.
Finally, in expanding from past versions of the class (which were not 75 minutes long), the end of this class will turn in more focus and detail to how to use these skills and other active choices you make as a subject to deliberately let yourself be led by your hypnotist partner, especially in a D/s context. Now that you've proven you can get there on your own, what if what you *really* want is to be controlled and brainwashed? We can help.

Words on the Body, Words in the Mind: Graphoerotica and Trance Mab, Lee We know how thrilling and seductive it is to play with words - to apply and subvert labels, to reinforce or undermine identities, to create entirely new realities. Our words leave our mouths on insubstantial breaths, ephemeral and transitory, but have incredible power when they drop into a fertile mind.
What more can we do when we take those words and make them concrete, impose them on the very real bodies involved in our play? In this class we'll look at ways to use body writing during hypnotic play as well as cover methods to create these effects.
